Giancarlo Lanna has gained extensive experience in civil law, commercial and corporate law, labor law, and administrative law. He has provided legal and strategic advice to both private entities and public bodies, as well as companies with majority public ownership.

He served as President of SIMEST S.p.A., a company within the CDP Group dedicated to supporting the internationalization of Italian enterprises, contributing to the strengthening of national strategies for export promotion and foreign investment.

He is actively engaged in promoting and supporting the international expansion of Italian businesses.

He has played a key role in shaping industrial policies aimed at identifying new opportunities and solutions to the challenges of the global market, particularly in the Mediterranean, the Balkans, Asia, Africa, Oceania, and the Americas.

A speaker at numerous conferences and seminars, as well as author of technical articles on internationalization, he consistently demonstrates his commitment to strengthening international governmental relations—both bilateral and multilateral—in support of SMEs and global cooperation to foster innovation in Italian business.
