Giorgio Spanio has developed several decades of experience in corporate law and corporate finance, with a particular focus on M&A transactions, financial transactions and banking law, operating both at national and international level.
Throughout his career, he has primarily advised medium-sized and large companies, leaders in their respective industrial sectors, with a strong presence in North-East Italy. He has handled numerous acquisition and corporate reorganisation projects, as well as complex financial transactions, gaining solid experience also in contexts characterised by corporate distress and crisis situations.
In recent years, he has been particularly involved in the rescue and restructuring of industrial groups, including through the use of insolvency proceedings, and has also advised companies operating in the oil sector. Throughout his professional career, he has collaborated with leading Italian and international law firms, assuming roles of responsibility and regional coordination.
He has held and continues to hold appointments as a member of the board of directors of Italian companies and has served as an Adjunct Professor at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Alongside his professional practice, he has developed a well-recognised leadership aptitude, consistently leading teams and operational offices.
